DREAMS
Unique Music Theatre Workshops

At Art For People’s Sake, we believe everyone has a story worth telling, and we aim to foster the skills to make these stories come to life through the performing arts.

We provide a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment for participants to discover or increase their confidence in using the performing arts for storytelling and meaning-making. Participants learn through doing, as they work on collaborative and interdisciplinary storytelling projects.

‘Dreams’ is a three-part integrated workshop series introducing participants to a collaborative process of conceiving and performing a music theatre performance piece. Together we will create a fresh interpretation of The Cranberries’ ‘Dreams’ as we explore what we hold inside us and what is truly possible when we let go.

Guided by an experienced music theatre director, ‘Dreams’ is a foundational ‘taster’ workshop for AFPS’s larger 2025 music theatre projects. Participants may select to join a single workshop or any combination that feels exciting. Content will be developed so that coming on board at any stage will be seamless and fulfilling. All participants will be invited to take part in the final performance of this piece later in the year.

Join us as we step a little out of our comfort zones and boldly into the new year and intentionally create a beginning … our dreams!
